Best At Home Beauty Hack | Austin Boudoir Photography

One of my favorite beauty hacks that I share with my clients is an awesome face mask that leaves your face feeling as smooth and soft as a … yeah it’s that good!

All you need is 2 items from your pantry:

Baking Soda
Raw Honey

Mix about 1-2 tsp of baking soda with 1-2 tsp of honey. Add a few drops of water and rub paste all over your face. Let sit for 15-20 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water. The baking soda is an anti inflammatory and gentle exfoliant removing dry patches and dead skin. Raw honey is naturally antibacterial and is full of antioxidants, so it is great for your skin. Another benefit is it’s extremely moisturizing and soothing, so it helps create a glow. Honey is also clarifying because it opens up pores, making them easy to unclog.

I give this recipe to my clients and some choose to do this mask the night before their shoot to prep their skin so they are glowing and their makeup goes on flawlessly!
