This past fall I went out to California to teach a mini makeshift workshop on shooting boudoir. While there, I had the pleasure of meeting, and shooting, a gorgeous mama that had the same worries as every mom I’ve worked with —
Going into the shoot I think I pointed out every flaw I could find about myself. I was worried about my stomach, the way my boobs didn’t sit like they did before I breastfed my babies, that my stretch marks would be the first thing people saw when they viewed the pictures, and mostly that I would freeze under the pressure! I’m pretty open – I don’t have a filter – but we are often our own worst critics and I was so worried I wouldn’t produce awesome pictures.

I was offered the opportunity to model for Torrid Boudoir by a very good friend of mine. I had never done anything like it at the time, and I was beyond excited to have the experience.

Definitely! I made the mistake of not ordering a few outfits in time and wasn’t able to shoot in them. I would definitely recommend, like their website says, to order early!
It’s amazing! Seriously life changing. I’m amazed at how intimate the session was and it’s definitely an experience to remember. I felt beautiful, sexy, and fierce! I left the shoot feeling like a bad ass female!
I enjoyed Elizabeth’s intimacy most. She was really able to pull me out of my comfort zone and find my sexy. I was so worried about being uncomfortable, but that’s impossible with the way Elizabeth cheers you on.

I feel like a beast! In a good way, LOL. I’ll put on outfits I wouldn’t have before and feel sexy. I found myself taking the lead in the bedroom, and feeling confident in my lingerie.
