I am blessed to call Emily a very good friend. I have known her since I was in 10th grade. She, in fact, introduced me to my Most.Favorite.Musician.Ever, the incomparable Mz. Ani DiFranco. And I’m not exaggerating when I say “most favorite ever” — I even have Ani’s record label logo (Righteous Babe Records) tattooed on my upper back! Ha!
So, saying Emily is influential in my life would be a huge understatement. We reconnected, via Facebook of course!, back in 2010 when I was pregnant with my now 3 year old son Utah. Emily is an incredible artist so I had her work some preggo belly painting magic. We had an unforgettable evening full of spaghetti, yummy garlic bread, beautiful painting and music! It felt like 10 years hadn’t passed.
About a year later Emily became pregnant with her own sweet baby girl, Olive! Since then, she has had TWO more baby girls — twins named Opal & Willow! All beautiful, happy & healthy girls!
Emily is one of the most deserving women of a boudoir photo session! She was nominated for our Mother’s Day Giveaway this past May and came in a close 2nd. She decided to go ahead and treat herself to a session anyway…and I am so very happy that she did!!
