Why did you book a boudoir session? What’s your story?

Initially I booked it with the intent of gifting my fiancé an album on the day of our wedding. What I didn’t realize at the time is it would turn out to also be an amazing gift to myself. You seriously can’t put a price on the confidence, empowerment, and strength I felt after going through with this experience!

Going into the shoot, were you worried about anything?

Absolutely. I am naturally an introvert so this was far out of my comfort zone. I’ve struggled with self acceptance, body image, and worrying what others think of me pretty much my whole life.

Looking back on the planning process, do you feel like you were given adequate information and references to help you prepare for your shoot?

Yes! You communicated everything perfectly and thoroughly every step of the way!

What is the number one reason you would recommend doing a shoot with me over any of the other photographers out there?

Your ability to make someone feel comfortable in front of the camera (and naked at that!). I didn’t feel awkward or judged or uncomfortable at all, and I truly feel that shows through in the photos and resulted in the most beautiful photos I have ever taken in my life!

What was your favorite part of your session?

Probably taking the photos themselves! Trying on the different outfits, accessorizing, trying the different poses. It was almost an out of body experience.

Would you have another boudoir shoot with me in the future?

Absolutely! Don’t tempt me with a good time.

What changes have you noticed in yourself after your photo shoot with me?

An overall sense of peace within myself. I feel confident, brave, empowered, strong, and sexy. That feeling within myself has rolled over into my personal life – my relationship, my job, etc. I am not letting feelings of self doubt creep in and sabotage the things I know I deserve and am capable of.

Would you like to add anything else about your experience? 

I absolutely loved the entire thing from start to finish and I cannot wait to do it again sometime!
