BOUDOIR BADDIES: This meant the world to me | Austin Boudoir Photography

Why did you book a boudoir session? What’s your story?

Originally, I booked it as a wedding anniversary gift for my husband. Our 20th anniversary is in May and he goes out of town a lot and is always asking for nude pictures. I never take them, as I don’t know what to do and feel silly. So, I thought this would be the perfect gift. However, after this experience, I feel like this was also a gift for myself. I am super critical of my body, and very self conscious about it. Doing this photoshoot, let me see myself in a whole different light. I feel sexy and beautiful. Honestly, I am still in a little bit of shock that those photos are me. So now it is a gift for both of us.

Going into the shoot, were you worried about anything?

Just nervous and anxious. I felt self conscious going in, but in the end I felt so comfortable I barely realized that I wasn’t wearing any clothes.

Looking back on the planning process, do you feel like you were given adequate information and references to help you prepare for your shoot?

Yes. More than enough. Even when I felt I was missing something, I would go back and re-look at the checklist and information and realize it was all there, so easily laid out.

What is the number one reason you would recommend doing a shoot with me over any of the other photographers out there?

I felt so comfortable. I was wearing little to nothing with someone I had only met once before on a video chat, yet, I felt so at ease. Not once did I feel uncomfortable about anything that I was doing or wearing (or not wearing). Plus, I love that you shoot women of all sizes and shapes. No matter the body shape of the person, they look absolutely stunning. That means so much to me.

What was your favorite part of your session?

Trying on the outfits and feeling gorgeous.

Would you have another boudoir shoot with me in the future?

YES!!

What changes have you noticed in yourself after your photo shoot with me?

I feel more confident in my own skin. I am less critical of the things I don’t like.

Would you like to add anything else about your experience?

THANK YOU!!! This meant the world to me.
