No matter if you’re a newbie or returning client, those butterflies will always pop up! How do you release the tension and capture your authentic self? 

Rest, rest, rest. The night before, besure to get enough sleep. Turn off the electronics, turn on a fan, and keep it dark!

Get to know your photographer! Don’t be afraid to ask questions and ask for advice. We promise we aren’t scary! I am more than happy to answer any questions you have before your shoot, or even just for reassurance!

Look through my photos on my website for inspiration on hair and makeup. Torrid Boudoir is an all inclusive experience, meaning you don’t have to spend more money and hours upon hours shopping for lingerie – we have an entire closet for you to select from, plus hair and makeup is included. But we do recommend looking through our work and taking a screen shot of anything you really love to show your hair and makeup artist!

Remember to HAVE FUN! We tend to over think things when we go into sessions. Emotional trauma, body dysmorphia, even just “will I look like all of the other women on her website” – these are all valid concerns, but we promise, no woman has ever seen her photos and said, “I was right, Im hideous!” it just doesn’t happen and it won’t happen with you either!
